And because it's Wednesday and I am ever and always a music junkie, it's time for some Muse. They've been my favorite band since I heard Sing for Absolution back in...God, I think it was '01. okay, that makes me feel old, forget I said that. In any case, I love the song they did for the 2012 Olympics. I wish the video was a montage of Ryan Lochte walking around with his Speedo on, but hey, you can't have everything you want. Here's Survival. They seem to be channeling Queen, my other favorite band:) Hope to see you at Reading Between the Wines!

OH, Woman after my own heart. Muse is my go to comfort music. They are an instant conversation starter, too. They're huge, but no one can place them.

Yay, a fellow Muse fan! I got to see them in concert a couple of years ago on their Resistance tour, and they are AMAZING live. Not that I had any doubt. They really do remind me of Queen because of what you said...they love to play with different musical genres, and they're impossible to pigeonhole. And their sound is just so over the top BIG. I can't figure out why they're not more popular in the US, but it's cool. It means their concert tickets don't cost a fortune:)
