Coming Soon

So I brilliantly forgot that the final bit for my Dark Dynasty intros is on my home computer, and I'm traveling back today...so I, erm, won't have it up until tomorrow.  BUT, I do have something else cool to share!  There are a few movies I'm really psyched to see in the coming year, and Red Riding Hood is one of them.  It's one of those films that could very easily suck (I'm STILL bummed about Van Helsing, The Brothers Grimm, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, etc. since they looked amazing in their trailers and I loved the concepts), but this trailer is irresistible to me.  Check it out and tell me what you think!

What are YOU all looking forward to seeing this year?  I'll be in later this afternoon to chat:-)  Have a great one!

  1. Hey there, I bet you're exhausted. I am too, but it's my own fault. I hope you had fun with your family. That movie looks interesting, though I must admit I have not seen anything about it on my side of the world. Did you notice that the director is also the director of Twilight??? I have to say that gives me a little pause, if you get my drift-I hope I'm way wrong. I'm looking forward to a movie coming out called I Am Number Four. It's based on a YA book. I have not read it myself, but it came highly recommended-just couldn't add it to the mountain that is my TBR. Now that the movie is near, though.......I'm intrigued.

    Have a great Monday!

  2. Hey! Sorry you're so tired:-( I do that to myself all the time, so I sympathize. I did have a really nice time with my family, thanks! Wish I lived closer to them, but what can you do?

So it's the same director as Twilight? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! <---I hope this conveys my feelings on the Twilight franchise appropriately. Okay, so probably this movie will suck. *heavy sigh* I think I'll wait for DVD, in that case. I have heard of I Am Number Four, actually. It came out of James Frey's new writer sweatshop: http://nymag.com/arts/books/features/69474/. I think a lot of people haven't heard much about this "endeavor" of his, but it's gross, and I wish it had been publicized more. I hear the story's quite good. It's a shame the real writer had to fight so hard to get any credit for it.

  3. Oh my, thanks for the link. I read the first two pages but was getting confused-probably not enough caffeine today. I remember this Oprah fiasco but at the time didn't pay attention to detail and quite honestly don't even know if what I remember is correct. So, I'm gonna read that article when I'm a little less tired, because I am intrigued and had no idea about any of this. :(
