TGIF

Yay, Friday!  Best day of the week (apart from maybe Saturday).  Not much to offer today...going to write in a bit, and I have to do some more of this P90X thing I've committed myself to.  Brian's doing it, he looks great, and I can't be the slug in the relationship, so...today is day 2 of soreness.  I'm in a pretty good mood, though, and I know some of it is because of the loathed exercise.  Anyway, here's a groove to head into the weekend with.  Bizarro video (are they wearing antlers and glitter?), but great song.  What's everyone up to for the weekend?

  1. Great song-definitely one to help you feel like moving. But I'm missing something, somewhere? You and Brian are doing the P90X workout? OMG, that is so cool. Garrett wants to do it, but I think he's too young. You know, still growing etc. But I have wanted to do it-I just know it's not something I can start with. I first need to do something simple like walking, before I move into that type of a workout. What I'd really like to try is the new Zumba workout video for the Wii. I'm hoping my local Game Stop will get one in used soon. I like to dance so I'm thinking this type of workout will still provide exercise, but still be fun!

And yes, Thank God It's Friday! Congrats on keeping to your page count goal!

  2. Hi! Yeah, I haven't mentioned it because I was trying to pretend I wasn't going to have to do it, but "we" are now doing P90X. Brian has lost over ten pounds, he looks...reeeeally good. I delayed starting because of the deadline, but now, I have no more excuses, so here I am. Day 2, sore as anything. You could totally do it, Lisa, I don't generally do anything and I managed. Fell over a lot, cursed a lot, but supposedly it's fine. Just do what you can and slowly step it up. I'm appropriately sore despite having been so ridiculously uncoordinated last night. I have heard good things about the Wii Zumba, though...you'll have to let me know how it is if you get it!
